THE PEOPLE

Who makes Putty

Every piece is written by someone who works in the trade it covers.

Writes about clay and the people who stay with it. Fifteen years at the wheel, still counting failures.

Plaster, lime and the slow trades. Reports from job sites where the finish takes a season.

Paper and cloth. Keeps a studio in a former laundry and a notebook of every fibre she has pulped.

Wood and glass. Believes a joint should be legible to whoever takes the thing apart.

Glass and metal. Spent two winters in a hot shop before writing a word about one.

Tools, jigs and workshop economics. Argues that the bench is the first thing you make.

Every dispatch, from all of them.

With encouragement and prayers from many of our friends and family, and in partnership with World Outreach Ministries, Inc. (WOM), Zoe Perissos Ministry was created out of our desire to bring the Kingdom of God to the Filipino people.
