Between caregiving, work, and everyone who needs a piece of us, it is easy to run on empty. Proverbs 31:25 says our strength is not something we manufacture, it is something we are clothed in. Here is what that looks like on an ordinary hard day.

Each month we’re sharing a new devotion pulled from one of two books written by Wendell and Jen: I Walk in Miracles, Wendell’s true stories of healing, prophecy, and everyday obedience, and Grace & Strength: Daily Devotionals for Women, Jen’s reflections on finding strength, love, and peace in Christ. The series alternates between the two books each month, so keep an eye out for the next one.

Progress on our home has slowed because of the rain, but we’re pushing forward since we have the cash in hand. We hope to start digging the foundation and putting in the septic tank soon. We need to move out of our rented home in 19 months.
