Welcome to Summer in Philippines!

Hello from the wonderfully hot Philippines. I know spring is coming to America, but it is now summer here about 99 degrees daily.
Much has taken place the last two months since our last praise letter. Jen started her next VA training with close to 200 students. What happened to our only 50 per class? Jen just wants to help as many as possible.
I continue using my gifts of evangelism and prophecy almost daily. See the pictures below.
Ministering to Young Couples
This group of young couples was organized by Angel Floresca (in dark blue and white polo shirt) in their subdivision. He is a young man whose heart is to serve God and share the Gospel to everyone.
He invited us to share our life testimony and to pray and prophesy over them.

This young couple are asking for prayers to have a child. He is a seaman and need to go back to work soon.
I know no other joy than to walk in the good works my Lord allows me to do (Ephesians 2:10) and yes in Love. One thing I have been doing inside our church and in our group chats is declaring daily we are chosen, Loved, and seen as Holy by our Lord. This is our foundation to live from since all of these three truths are based on God and not our belief nor actions. We just celebrated the death and resurrection of our Lord who willingly gave us His life and Blood so we can come back to the Father and walk in the light with the Father daily 1 John 1:7.
A divine encounter with a gay man who gave his life to Jesus. I had met him once before at a wedding and he was the EMCEE. I had asked the Lord for an opportunity to pray for him while at the wedding but it never happened but 3 years later...ta da!

Amazing couple who owns a tattoo shop. I really encouraged them to not become religious but love on and pray over all the clients they will encounter. They are brand new believers.
Construction in a Mission
Jen and I attend Empower church pastored by May and Marc Azaña. We are on staff as volunteers, and are given the chance to speak in the church once a month. Pastor Marc is an engineer plus runs two construction companies. Jen and I hired him to build our home.
Whenever Pastor Marc has a job he takes me along and allows me to preach to all the construction workers, and to the clients who are funding the project!
50-70 people have come to Jesus just this year. I am really thankful for a pastor who sees Jesus in Jen and I. Marc is 42 and sees our gifts and uses them so he is not threatened by them.

Living a Purpose that Impacts Others…
Got the chance to preach on this topic last March 22, 2026. On the other hand, Jen preached on Surrendering on God’s Great Plan last March 8, 2026.

Summer in Tarlac, Philippines

Nambalan River, Mayantoc, Tarlac
One of the more popular summer destination in the province of Tarlac is the Nambalan River in Mayantoc, one of the towns in the northwest of province. The river, overlooking the Zambales Mountain Range to the west, features crystal clear waters ideal for swimming and rafting. There are also spots along the river where the more adventurous can go for mini-cliff diving.
Tarlac Talkers Expat Group
I continue to work with Expats who live here in Tarlac, some are believers but most are not. Please pray for these precious men and their families.
My morning had started about 3am with coffee and the presence of the Lord. I was really excited. It was a Monday morning and I was going to fulfill scripture by visiting Don Sexton, a Tarlac Talker member who was sick in the hospital, and then go visit Johnny Wilson our recycle guy who also was in the hospital.
When I arrived at Jecson hospital, Don had already left. So I came out and found a tr driver to take me to Johnny's hospital The driver demanded double the rate. I lost my temper and got out of the trike in front of all these guys yelling, “you are trying to cheat a white man, no I will give you nothing”, and I started to walk away. I stopped in front of all these men, about 10 of them. I pulled out my wallet and shook a 100 peso in the air yelling, “I would have given you more then 80 peso,” all the men said, “Sir, sir..” I yelled in anger, ”No,” and walked away.
I was so shocked over my behavior, the Holy Spirit said was that loving? Kind? Would it not have been better to give this man 80peso plus the gospel? You were ready to give 100peso? I said, “yes Lord I was very rude.” The Lord said, “on your way home buy them all bananas say sorry and give them Me.” So that is what I did. The man who I had yelled at was gone but the rest remembered me.
I tell you this because I expose all of my darkness to the light. I desire to live in 1 John 1:7 I also need my feet washed by the blood of Jesus. I am thankful for the salvation of 7 men who witnessed me yelling. I am more than humbled by this and hopefully grow more fruit of self control in the future.

Sharing the Good News of Great Joy
Salvation stories...
Went walking last Tuesday to the bank about a 3 mile walk. I stopped to buy some water and rest. As I was sitting on the bench a 22 year old woman named Ayi sat down next to me. I knew this was the Lord since most Filipinos are very shy and do not want to speak English. As we talked I was able to give her hope beyond her daily life and she asked the Lord to take away her life of sin and give her His life of mercy, joy and peace.

Home Construction: Project Update
The construction work on our land and home has slowed down. Since Marc has other projects to work on.
We want to thank all of you for praying and giving. As we have the funds we build. So far we have received about $11,000.00. We feel like we almost finished phase 1 of a 3 phase project, which is putting a retaining wall around it.
Thank you again. If you can give that would be wonderful. If you send money through World Outreach you can use it as a tax deductible gift.
We have 23 months until we need to move out. If you know someone who would be willing to lend us $65,000 I can pay it back in 5 years with interest.

If you want to give toward the House Project:
