Hello and a very Happy Mother's Day to you...who are physical mothers and to those of you that are Spiritual moms or both!!!

Yes, it is Sunday here in the Philippines. Jen and I are staying home from our church, since I have a cough from weeding the other day. We could have gone, but did not want to scare people when I cough.
A short message for my Mom :)
1 Timothy 5:10 "...having a reputation for good works; and if she has brought up children, if she has shown hospitality to strangers, if she has washed the saints’ feet, if she has assisted those in distress, and if she has devoted herself to every good work." This scripture describes my mother Carol Schultz Wientge!
A mighty women of God I can say with all honesty that I would not be a missionary today nor have known the Lord if my mother did not live daily the true faith of loving Jesus.

I was in Germany serving in the U.S. Army I had come to the end of all that I thought would satisfy me, and was very disappointed. At that moment the Holy Spirit brought to my memory my mother’s words "go to Church Buddy Roo". I did obey her and through precious people, I met the Lord. So, I want to encourage all you moms out there, your life is shining like light into those around you. Your acts, faith and life are of good reputation to your kids, husband friends and coworkers. Do not become discouraged in doing good, you will reap a harvest that you cannot see now, but will later. Thank you Mom! Only in heaven will you see all the full glory of what you have done on earth.

Undeniable Reputation...
TWO WOMEN NAMELY, DOMINGA AND GERLIE CAME TO OUR FRONT GATE ASKING TO SEE ME (WENDELL) - This ties into a good reputation. Some time ago I was walking and the Holy Spirit had given me a word of knowledge, that Dominga had arthritis in her shoulder. I approached her on the street inquired about the word, she said yes, I prayed all the pain left and Dominga gave her life over to our Lord.

So yesterday, Dominga brought her friend, Gerlie to our home for prayer and healing. Gerlie had fallen two or three days ago and her chest and back hurt badly. Wow, I was so honored that these women would go looking for me and asking where does the white man live? Yes, the Lord honored Dominga's courage and faith, Gerlie was healed and saved.
Thank you, Mom for teaching me and living a life of great reputation.
I have been sick for four days, do not really know why, Jen said it was because I was weeding our small garden without a mask? She might be right, but I am blessed and rarely get sick. James 1:2, I am encouraged to think about all problems and trials with joy. I am glad James said consider, I will be honest it might take me a few days to see my problems and trials in the light of Joy. But I eventually come to a spiritual perspective of joy and being trimmed by the Father. John 15, and Romans 8:28-29 conforming to the image of Jesus. Have you been praying for Jen and I? Well two weeks ago it seemed like all hell broke loose on us. I will not go into details but because of my American culture and the Filipino culture I apparently was able to offend almost everyone, I know and do not know, The Senior pastor and staff at our church, most everyone here in our home, and all of the leaders of the Church planting team. This all happened in a two-day stretch. I can rejoice by saying I did not sin by reacting in defense. But I did retreat into my room for prayer and consolation from the Holy Spirit. My wife Jen was really upset by all of this and wanted to defend me. I think she was the only one who was not offended by me. I really rely on Jen to help me understand the Filipino people and culture. According to her I was not offensive to any of these people and that it was a direct attack from the evil one. So armed with that info I waited on the Lord to give me His timing to begin the reconciliation process. I have grown much in humility from this, and I am now reconciled to most of the people except the CPM. I believe that will happen in the near future.
Praises:
I was given my permanent visa status - This means I only have to report once a year, for a background check, and I can easily come and go in and out of the country. My book has sold about 75 copies, and I am getting feedback from the readers!!!Oh and thank you to those who sent us a quick email last month to tell us you are reading and praying over our praises letter.Another praise we are able to meet face to face in our cell groups, weekly people are getting healed, and saved. I also am now able to go walking 4-5 times a week where I am able to share the gospel and bring healing physically and spiritually.
Our prayers requests :
Growth of our cell groups and equipping of the attendees, protections from the attacks of the enemy and my sensitivity to the Holy Spirit's leading (to not offend people) For Jen to get a visitors Visa to America before May of 2023. Right now the US Embassy in Manila is fully booked for interviews until September of 2023, due to the Covid lockdowns. (I really do not want to come and visit America without Jen). I also have told Jen all my family and friends in America really want to see and meet her, not me.
