Time flies so swiftly...here goes August!
As I write this praise letter you just do not know how thankful I am for your prayers!
RAISE THE DEAD!
Yesterday, Sunday, 22nd of August, two of our church planting team members were conducting a cell group in a home at about 3pm. It has been extremely hot and Jay whom I call my "Timothy " is such a great learner, leader, and servant. He had a seizure for about 5 minutes and then he stopped breathing and died. I believe the heat caused the seizure. Our 2nd member Zairene was there and she two walks in the power of the Holy Spirit. As she saw Jay die right before her eyes, the Lord's power took over and with great boldness Zairene commanded Jay to come back and opened his eyes! Jay is 30 years old and very healthy. At that moment Jay's eyes opened and he began to breathe again. Later Jen was chatting with Jay over messenger and asked how he is doing, Jay said tired but thankful to be back in the land of the living. I really believe in Luke 10:19 we are to crush the serpents, scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will harm us! I will interview Jay later to see what happened. I also was asking the Lord why I did not see this coming and how I can pray that this does not happen again. However, I rejoice I have taught the team well, like Paul in Acts 14:19-20 if I die my disciples will be able to raise me from the dead! More praise for us (CPT).

We are finished for now working in Atioc since Dante, our fellow worker, has started 6 cell groups and is working toward planting a church. It has been over a year and a half since we started walking the streets praying for people and seeing about 250-300 people healed and born again! Last Saturday, we had a meeting to discuss what we learned from the CPT experience at Atioc, what we did well, not so well, and how we can train and keep disciples with our team. It seems many believers want to come and see how we lead people to Jesus, and the healing miracles that happen before their very eyes, but after that they go back to sleep or leave the faith altogether.

I (Jen) was assigned to speak for Session 6 - Sons not Servants (Slaves) and it is amazing how God reveals things just right before we speak
Before my time to speak at the RER, He showed me the NBA draft event, how they drafted their players and how God did as well for His leaders. He revealed that He has a different qualification which is DRAFT...

Pray with us as to how we can grow these trees to full maturity and bear fruit in their lives. It is a puzzle I have never ever been able to understand. While I was living in America I would take many people out into the streets, after training in a church setting or home cell group. I would teach, train, demonstrate, Yet, out of 50 people I can think of, only two that I know walk in the truth that all believers can heal, cast out demons, and raise the dead. Mark 16 here at TFBC our pastor calls these types of people believing unbelievers. Hum, maybe it is me and how I teach?
Since Jen and I have taken over as tribe leadership as lead pastors of over 150 people, we can say thank you for your prayers, It seems the whole tribe is on FIRE and are growing spiritually plus opening more and more cell groups. I have been growing a cell group in San Isidro for about 5 months. At times we have had 20 people attend and now we have about 10-12 this coming Thursday I will be turning this cell group over to one of our lead pastors in our tribe. Melanie is on fire and has opened at least 5 cell groups. I am so thankful for her growth and leadership. It has always been Jen's and my goal to work ourselves out of our jobs and train disciples to lead and make more disciples!

About 3 months ago the CPT team were called to Nories home since there was demonic activity going on. We were able to cast out the evil spirits, lead Nories and family to the Lord, and now we have a cell group started. After much prayer our CPT will be focusing on Barangay Matatalaib area to start cell groups and bring the gospel. This is where Norris and Joey live. It is a dark, strong hold of demons, drugs, and unemployment. We trust you will be the artillery of the Lord and we will be the foot soldiers of the Lord!
Due to the increasing Covid infected statistics, we were elevated from Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) to General Community Quarantine (GCQ) which limits our Face To Face Cellgroups, so we opted to continue using our Zoom Pro for our Virtual Cellgroups.

Praise of Thanksgiving
I also just obtained my ACR card. This is my identification card and allows me to move more freely in the Philippines. Remember we told you about our $300 electric bill? Well, some precious believers gave us extra cash, plus we were able to unplug some high use appliances so now our electric bill is down to about $200 per month! Thank you all for your prayers and gifts that both support us spiritually and physically!

Loving Father, we thank You that we are Your child and that Your promises to both Israel and the Church are irrevocable. Look down with pity on those that are lost in trespasses and sins and we pray that many may come to faith in Jesus Christ, who is the only way, the only truth, the only life and the only Saviour, in Whose name I pray, AMEN.
