It is the 27th of December. I have a week off from needing to be anywhere so now it is a great time to send this letter to you all. First and foremost, thank you for all your love, prayers and financial support!

A very Merry Christmas and Blessed New year!
Greetings from the Pearl of Orient Seas, Philippines!
Prayer Kicked Out Symptoms and Sickness...
It has been an amazing year! In September Jen came down with Covid for I think a week, I had it for 3 weeks of symptoms, and then three months of covid fatigue. On December 10th at 3pm in the afternoon, all my tiredness left I felt it leave and my energy came back in full. Why did this happen? I think it was because Jen posted my need for prayer in our tribe chat group. These praying women started to pray and God answered! I had not shared my weakness and loss of strength to anyone here in the Philippines except, you in our past letters. I do not think it was pride but I did notice if you say I had covid to anyone they moved away from me and made sure they had their mask on. Fear and death is strong and if we are not rooted and grounded in our faith that can be overwhelming to many.

Many Praises…
First Jen and I are always looking for ways to help grow businesses and move people out of poverty. This Christmas we and our tribe were able to raise about $400.00 and bought a Tri-bike and a Fishball Cart for two couples in our tribe. Angie, 60 years old, a street vendor selling street foods. She carries her products on her head even if she is having difficulty walking because she is suffering from osteoarthritis. Her daily profit ranges from P200 to P300 ($4-$6) and they need to pay a tricycle fare of P50 ($1) a day to go to the market and to the place where office workers are. So, we decided to buy them a Tri-bike, and her husband, Edward pedals it.
A Tri-Bike...

A Fishball Cart with Bike...
Jeff and Mel will be selling street food and can make about $20.00 dollars a day. I know you are thinking well, that is not much. Here in the Philippines most people work 8-10 hours a day and make $6.00 to $10.00 dollars a day! To put it in perspective I bought a bag of Doritos chips at the supermarket as a treat for Christmas. I paid P250 Pesos or $5 US dollars, so I spent one whole day's wages on a bag of chips. In America the minimum wage is around $9 dollars times 8 equals $72 dollars. No way would anyone in America pay that much for a bag of chips. We hope to continue giving hands up to these precious people more than just a hand out. Keep praying for us to find more ways to help people get jobs and grow out of poverty.

Church Planting Ministry
The Church Planting Ministry (CPM) team is currently working in Panampunan. After 2 months of visiting this neighborhood every Saturday all the people know that we Love Jesus and that we heal for free. Just last week we were walking down the street and a woman called out to us for help. We have never seen this woman before. Mary said she had heard that we pray for the sick and our way works best. That meant the witchcraft did not work all the time, plus Mary said we pray for free! Yes, after Mary was healed we were able to lead her to our loving Savior! We need your prayers to come up with ways to help these people grow in their new found faith. It seems all these healed people want their problems to go away and to take Jesus as their Lord. but they do not want to come to any type of cell group or bible study. We are praying and looking for new ways to root and ground them. We do have one cell group in this neighborhood and the family is growing in their faith, but neighbors do not want to attend yet. Also, we are praying about splitting up our CPM into two groups. Before we would go out as one with 4 to 6 people. Now that the whole team is well-trained, they do not "need" me to go along. Pray that the Lord of the harvest sends more people to train (Luke 10).
A Mission Without Walls...Boundless!
The CPM was invited to visit a church and we were allowed to speak and then offer healings. Wow the Lord really blessed these people. The news about our team is spreading and we are now receiving more invitations. Since my strength has returned I am now able to jog and exercise again! Whoop Whoop!

A Running Buddy!
I also met an American whose name is James, he loves the Lord and has now joined our Tribe. I just found out James runs every day. I am hoping we can run together and have some fellowship.
Another Miracle!
One last story of the greatness of Abba our God. Last Friday I was needed at our Church TFBC to help give food to the poor and pray for them. Jen will post the pictures below. It was the 24th and I needed to withdraw some money from the atm and buy some last minute food gifts for the family. At 10 am I walked two blocks to Magic Star mall, they have two atm machines. When I arrived both atm's were out of service. So I thought Ill walk another two blocks to a bank. As I am walking, I always give the gospel to people and pray for the sick. The bank atm would not accept my debit card, so the thought came to me, go to the Robinson market they have an atm inside. When I arrived at this market there were 4 people ahead of me getting cash. I need cash to pay for some unforeseen bills and to finish paying for my book editing. Thank you Mom Carol Wientge! As I started walking up and down the aisle I was looking for chips for my boys, and chocolate for Jen. Jen texted me and asked for me to buy some seedless grapes. I went to the produce aisle and they did not have the seedless ones. At that moment I thought I would love to have some salsa and chips for a Christmas snack. I asked an employee where the salsa was located. I was instructed to go over two aisles and I would find them there.
As I came into the aisle there stood an elderly Filipino man who's name is Edward. In my heart I heard his leg is hurting. I gave the morning greeting. Asked Edward his name and if his leg is hurting? He said yes and gave me permission to pray. Two commands later Edward's leg was healed and I proceeded to give him the gospel. As I held my phone up to Edwards left ear so that he could hear the gospel in his language of Tagalog, Edward moved the phone over to his right ear since he was deaf in his left ear. I smiled and asked Edward are you deaf in your left ear? Yes, he replied. I said ok now Jesus not only healed your leg but will now heal your ear. One commanding prayer be open in Jesus's name.

Edward began to snap his fingers next to his left ear and say out loud. "This is real. This is real" I replied yes it is a Miracle and Jesus loves you so much!! See the photo below.

TRIVIA:Simbang Gabi (/sim.ˈbʌŋ.ˈɡʌ.ˌbi/; Filipino for "Night Mass") is a devotional, nine-day series of Masses attended by Filipino Catholics in anticipation of Christmas. It is similar to the nine dawn Masses leading to Christmas Eve practiced in Puerto Rico called Misa de Aguinaldo.Simbang Gabi in the Philippines is held daily from December 16 to 24, and occur at different times ranging from as early as 03:00 a.m. to 05:00 a.m. local time.[1] On the last day of the Simbang Gabi, which is Christmas Eve, the service is instead called Misa de Gallo (Spanish for "Rooster's Mass"). It has an important role in Philippine culture.
At Tarlac First Baptist Church (TFBC), we did a little twist on "Simbang Gabi", we call it "Sambang Gabi" which means "Worship Night", which begins on December 1 until December 24. It is an exciting evening to many people specially families because they get to enjoy free food from different Tribes (TFBC Groups are called "Tribes").

Apart from the free food, many small entrepreneurs were able to sell their products, including Jen's items called "JenDell Beads Crafts"
