Hello from the Philippines!
Jen and I are praying all is well with you and your family at the reading of this letter!
I always desire to start these updated praise letters with giving thanks to our Lord for you and your prayers! We are so blessed to have you as a part of our team. Jen and I do not know how many people are reading these letters or how many are praying. However, we see such growth in our lives, and the growth of the kingdom, someone must be doing both! Thank you.
More CellGroups Opened Up!
As I said in our last letter, we have now started 6 cell groups in Panampunan I have one cell by myself. It is all Filipino people who speak some English, and I speak some Tagalog. We have been meeting for about 5 weeks now, every week we have new people arrive who get healed and then give their lives over to our Lord. On the other hand, not everyone who attends comes back on a consistent basis. I do not get bent out of shape over this, since this is their culture, but I just pray more that the Holy Spirit will cause them to hunger and attend. Please pray that their Husbands will attend! so far it has been all women and children. This is a big problem in our tribe and church, most men seem uninterested in spiritual matters. On the other hand, the men's wives are religious and complain to the men about their smoking, drinking, gambling. Both sides are wrong and need unconditional love from our Lord and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Another praise I am adjusting to being a "pastor". My giftings and bent are Prophetic and Evangelizing. Growing up on a farm I would rather shoot a sheep and eat them than to try and fix them. However, my precious wife is more tender and wise to the ones who we lead, and I am learning to listen to her and the Holy Spirit. :) Just being honest for your prayers.

I have a new American friend James who was born in the Philippines, but raised in the USA, James and I run together 3 times a week and we talk about the Lord and the bible all the time. James lives about 3 miles from my house. So, after a 40 min jog and breakfast I am able to walk home, and pray for people. Also, the CPT is now going out again on Saturdays. We have developed a pattern. We go walking from 8-10 through a neighborhood. We pray for the sick and give the gospel. After about 6 weeks we are well known in that neighborhood so then we start cell groups. What we need is pastors, people who want to help us grow the kingdom.
Our prayers requests :
Jen is working 10-12 hours a day in her job. Jen also is a mom, wife, daughter, and a tribe leader. So, Jen needs strength, wisdom and supernatural rest for these trying demands. We hope to see a decline in her job demands in about three months.
Our leaders would grow spiritually to the point we do not need to babysit them.
We would find more people to help with the CPT and take over whole neighborhoods.
