Zoe Perissos Ministry | Praise Letter | May 2020

No.  Jen is not writing this letter, this really is Wendell.  I hope she allows this letter to pass since she is the secretary, editor, and publisher of this letter. 

One of the goals or desires of Jen and I for the Filipino people is to help them start their own business.  Since the lock down, Jen has helped start 5 businesses!  Yeah, really!  When most people are hurting and wondering what to do next, my

"gift"

steps up to the need of her fellow countrymen and helps them to start making money. 

No, she does not ask for pay or even a thank you.  It is her gifting and way of serving the King of Kings!  I'll give you an example...

Last week, Jen heard our neighbors across the yard talking.  Maricel and her son, Basti, owns a vegetable store in the wet market downtown.  Basti was saying he needs to get another job to help pay bills since the store is not making money.  Jen called Maricel and shows her how to sell online and set up deliveries.  Jen also connects two other business owners to Maricel so they can buy vegetables on wholesale from her.  Jen is doing all the work online and contacting people after working 40 plus hours online.  

Besides these, she is helping our church go digital, cleaning the home, doing the laundry, cooking, raising 3 kids, and putting up with an American husband.

E-Palengke

is an online store of people's daily needs. The goal is to provide a stress-free shopping for everyone particularly the mothers and it will be delivered right at the buyers' doorstep.

*** Jen setup the Facebook Page and order system for this business.  She taught the owner and the staff on how to go about the route and then move on to helping another business. ***

Our gifting are so different, the way we worship, abide in the Word, and love on people, yet both are touching people all the time.  So I wanted you to know how God is using your prayers and giving to bless people in the Philippines thru Jen. I receive newsletters from missionaries but rarely do I hear about the wife of the missionary and what she does. Jen is like that, she does not want to be upfront, nor in the limelight.  She prefers to work behind the scenes and believe me other people in leadership take credit for the hard work she does.  The videos I have done in the past and this excellent praise letter are all her doing.

*** Jen helped this business to be on Google My Business (GMB) and on free ad listing sites like yelp, locanto, craigslist, etc.  She does all the citations that led to some inquiries and eventually became clients of this events company.***

I am trying to stay busy around the house, obeying the laws of the Philippines.  I have to renew my visa every two months.  Thank you Karl and Ellen Sparklin for helping to pay for the visa.  When I go to the office for renewal they always do a background check on police reports to see if I have been naughty or nice.  So, I am very careful to obey and stay out of trouble. 

Since the Lock down I have been able to lead about 12 to 15 people to the Lord, here in our subdivision, I am praying about having a follow-up bible study so please pray about that for us.

*** Jen created this online shop to connect suppliers with resellers and buyers.  This is a page where they can post their respective products and Jen being the center or control, will then boost the page in order for many people in our province to see all the products of each online seller.  Currently, they have 4 Wholesalers and 10 Resellers.  ***

Praises we are still paying most of our bills except the mortgage.  We hope to catch that up in August.

We are having a bible study with our three kids every Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and that seems to be going well.  We do have lunch together as a family every day and that gives us all time to laugh connect and love on each other.
