Hello from the wonderful wet Philippines.

I know you are starting to enjoy your summer in America, we just finished our hot season and now we are in the rainy season. Our temps here are 70's at night and 90's during the day. We get rain almost every day in the afternoon. All the plants are growing.
I am feeling much better, since last I wrote, I still have some allergies but getting better daily. Thank you for praying for me. Jen is always busy working 8-10 hours a day, as a Virtual Assistant, then a mom, wife, cook, cleaner, pastoral care giver, prayer warrior, friend, worshiper, counselor, crafts worker, who sometimes rests and sleeps in occasionally. Lol me I just try to help when I can.
A short trip with friends...
We were able to take a one-day trip to the Ocean with some of our American friends who are married to Filipinos. It was refreshing for us to get out of the home, away from the routine of life. See the pictures below.

The Ministry...
Right now, our CPT church planting team is on hold as we work through some personality conflicts. We are planning on holding some VBS out reaches with our existing cell groups. Our Tribe is growing spiritually and numerically. Our focus for the next few months is to equip these precious people to become dependent upon the Holy Spirit and less dependent upon Jen and I. We need wisdom over our 5 cell groups, how to raise up leaders to take them to the next level, and freedom to open up new areas. Whenever I ride in a tricycle I ask the driver where are the darkest places in town and I should never go there as a White American? So far I have been shown four places, I am now praying on going there and starting cell groups and shining the light of the gospel. I always think the darker the place the brighter the light.
An opportunity to speak...
I was allowed to preach at our Wednesday night service two weeks ago, I can honestly say it was the best message I have ever preached. I hope Jen can tag it in this newsletter. I was in our staff meeting at TFBC two weeks ago, after being absent for 3 weeks, Bishop Frank said "Wendell you are speaking tomorrow night." The whole staff started laughing, I thought Bishop was joking, no not at all. I heard the Holy Spirit say to me at that moment, I got this. do not prepare nor carry notes. So, I was able to preach my first message without preparation nor notes…it was amazing. I really believe we must become the gospel not just preach the word, but become the word.

TFBC Midweek Service | Ptr. Wendell Schultz | May 18, 2022
Last week our family went to a local restaurant called Urban brew. Jen and I have gone to this place many times and have seen the power and love of God show up and show off. So, as I was picking up our food, one of the workers, Amy said to me I am always so happy to see you in our restaurant, You carry an aura of peace and joy and I can feel it. I smiled and said oh thank you, that is the Lord Jesus who lives in me. As I was thinking over all the times I have visited this restaurant, why was I so different than other customers? My conclusion was that I am always kind, never do i get upset if they do not have an item on the menu nor do I get upset if they got my order wrong and I happily say it is ok and eat what they serve me without complaint nor demanding a discount or go back and make it right. Humm, I know this is the resurrection power of the Lord Jesus in me!! Every time I think of what that precious woman said to me it just makes me smile and say wow thank you sooo much Lord Jesus!!! Good job Holy Spirit!!!
Our prayers and thanksgiving!
